About the Sacred Arts Guild
The St. Stephen Sacred Arts Guild is a perpetual fundraising initiative designed to beautify the sanctuary and halls of catholic churches and their affiliated facilities while providing a dignified way for parishioners to honor their loved ones.
Through our sponsorship program, individuals or families "adopt" a high-quality reproduction of a world-renowned piece of sacred art. This program bridges the gap between liturgical devotion and the financial needs of the parish.
How It Works
1. Select Your Artwork
Choose a painting from our curated collection of sacred masterpieces, each reproduced as a high-quality canvas print that is hand-stretched and framed right here in the USA.
2. Select Your Parish
Choose the parish location where you would sponsor the artwork. You can select from a list of participating parishes, such as the one where you are registered, or one where you want your loved one to be remembered, often a hometown.
3. Commit to Monthly Sponsorship
A minimum donation of $100 per month is recommended, with a commitment of at least three consecutive months, to promote the program's charitable goal of doing good rooted in love, mercy, and justice.
4. Honor Your Loved One or Special Recognition
A custom metal nameplate is affixed near the artwork, featuring the artwork details and your personal memorial dedication or special recognition.
Use of Funds
Participation is entirely voluntary. All funds collected are considered unrestricted donations to St. Stephen Catholic Church and the participating parish partner where the artwork is installed. Proceeds are shared according to the program guidelines and are placed into a discretionary fund to be used by the Pastor for the needs of the parish, its clergy, staff, programs, and the wider Catholic community.
